Official county tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Online Tax Information and Payments says the general public should use Public User Login and fill out only one search field. It also says Statements of Tax Dues and receipts are available through the secure portal. Ask Treasury for an existing unpaid ledger or dated redemption quote when portal details are insufficient.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, Statement of Taxes Due or dated tax-lien redemption amount, provide the account/parcel/schedule reference, tax years and desired as-of date. Ask whether current delinquency, sold or county-held liens, later endorsements, interest and advertising/redemption costs are included and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, research and extract fees. Assessor valuations, loan foreclosures and dated sale lists do not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Grand County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The county warns that filling more than one search field may return no results. The page separately states certified-funds rules after September 1; do not infer a complete payoff from an old bill or an auction advertisement. No taxpayer query, account registration, CAPTCHA completion, public-records request, bidder registration, upload or payment was submitted. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
