PROPERTY TAX RESEARCH, MADE SIMPLER
Alamosa County, Colorado
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
Alamosa County Treasurer / Property Tax Records
Official county tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
The Treasurer page says the online payment portal is unavailable October 15 through November 1, 2026, and directs account/payment questions to 719-589-3626. It also lists an Alamosa County CORA Policy and Request Form. Request an existing unpaid ledger or report through Treasury rather than treating the temporary payment closure as absence of records.
For an existing delinquent real-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, Statement of Taxes Due or dated tax-lien redemption amount, provide the account/parcel/schedule reference, tax years and desired as-of date. Ask whether current delinquency, sold or county-held liens, later endorsements, interest and advertising/redemption costs are included and whether recent payments have posted. Confirm inspection, electronic-copy, certification, research and extract fees. Assessor valuations, loan foreclosures and dated sale lists do not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Alamosa County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The page states that later online payments are limited by tax-lien-sale/prior-open-year status. Tax sale parcels include interest and advertising costs. The closure is a dated 2026 notice, not a claim of permanent unavailability. No taxpayer query, account registration, CAPTCHA completion, public-records request, bidder registration, upload or payment was submitted. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
