PROPERTY TAX RESEARCH, MADE SIMPLER
San Bernardino County, California
Where to look, which office to contact, and how to request records.
Where to obtain records
San Bernardino County Tax Collector / Property Tax Records
Official tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
The current Tax Collector page separates Pay Property Tax Online, Tax Sale and Delinquent Unsecured Taxes. It identifies the collection office at 268 West Hospitality Lane, First Floor, and phone 909-387-8308. Use that office for existing unpaid real-property records or a dated redemption amount when the linked service is insufficient.
For an existing delinquent secured-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, bill copy or dated redemption amount, provide the parcel/account/assessment reference, fiscal years, desired as-of date and inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which current, supplemental, defaulted and payment-plan amounts are included, whether recent payments have posted, and whether any power-to-sell or sale status applies. Confirm record-copy, certification, research or extract fees. A valuation roll, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale inventory does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for San Bernardino County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
The older mytaxcollector.com root redirects to the current department site. Bulk-payment upload and payment history are separate services; neither establishes a downloadable delinquency list. No taxpayer query, account registration, CAPTCHA verification, records-request submission, upload or payment was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
