Madera County Tax Collector / Property Tax Records
Official tax-records access guidanceHow to find the information
Defaulted Taxes explains that defaulted bills are mailed after the July roll turn and include an itemized monthly payoff schedule. Request that statement or the underlying unpaid-year ledger through the Tax Collector at 559-675-7713.
For an existing delinquent secured-property report, parcel account/payment ledger, bill copy or dated redemption amount, provide the parcel/account/assessment reference, fiscal years, desired as-of date and inspection or electronic-copy format. Ask which current, supplemental, defaulted and payment-plan amounts are included, whether recent payments have posted, and whether any power-to-sell or sale status applies. Confirm record-copy, certification, research or extract fees. A valuation roll, recorded lien, payment screen or dated sale inventory does not certify today’s unpaid balance.
What to ask for
“I am looking for publicly available delinquent real-property tax records for Madera County for [tax year]. Which office maintains these records? Is there an online search or downloadable list? If not, how can I request a copy, and what fees apply?”
Have the property address, parcel number, owner name, and tax year ready when searching for a particular property.
County-specific notes
Indexed official guidance was reviewed after direct access failed. A current secured bill, a defaulted-bill payoff schedule and a payment-plan account have different coverage; confirm the as-of month and recent transactions. No taxpayer query, account registration, CAPTCHA verification, records-request submission, upload or payment was made. No taxpayer rows or owner-list attachments are included.
